Job Details

The Manager, BIG will contribute to our companys revenue strategy by executing an annual sales plan for maintaining existing revenue streams and building net new revenue in conjunction with a small sales team. They have direct accountability for annual revenue quota retirement. They will divide their time between actively selling, leading, supporting, and developing one or more sales professionals, selling multiple products and solutions into markets at different stages and maturity. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience leading, managing & developing high-impact, high-output sales employees, and finding solutions in a dynamic working environment. Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader and team player, with hands-on experience in the disciplined use of sales processes/methodologies and the sales life cycle.

Position Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales targets through the execution of established best practices and accountability for results.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate one or more high-performing and highly engaged sales professional (s).
  • Initiate and maintain cross-functional relationships to collaborate at all levels to identify key business issues and opportunities.
  • Actively seek external information to understand customers and market segment needs.
  • Be fluent in industry trends, market dynamics, the competitive landscape, and standards/regulatory developments.
  • Continuously learn and actively seek ongoing professional /industry knowledge development by attending workshops, establishing personal networks, and participating in the community.
  • Travel is required for up to 25% of the year for this role.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree in a business-related discipline
  • 5+ years experience in sales
  • 3+ years experience managing high-performing salespeople
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
  • Related industry experience in the Banking, Insurance, and/or Government fields
  • Proficient at using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
