Job OverviewGrizzlyTrek is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at a mine site near Williams Lake, BC. This is a contract position for a 5 day outage.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless project operations.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on a mine site.
- Familiarity with automated control systems and PLCs.
- Certification in first aid and H2S Alive.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in an industrial setting with exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
