POSITION PROFILE:
The Refurb Cooler is responsible for the refurbishing and testing of all water cooler equipment. This role also includes the responsibility of maintaining the specified work areas and the shipping and receiving of products.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Log all serial numbers of coolers to be cleaned and sanitized
• Disassemble coolers to clean inside, reassemble, and test again for proper working order
• Check for orders coming from branch to prepare coolers for shipment
• Occasional site visits to commercial customers
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and complete regular safety training to stay informed on best practices for using PPE
• Maintain cooler parts inventory; prepare parts list to order
• Keep a list of parts numbers used for repairs to ensure the inventory is properly utilized
• Strictly follow the SQF policies and procedures regarding safe food handling, cleanliness, and any other procedure that is required
• Preparing shipment and assist with receiving products
• Other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Able and willing to learn
• Valid Drivers license and a clean driver's abstract
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving
• Forklift experience is an asset

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• High physical demand level
• Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, and squatting
• Continuous lifting of 50 pounds or more
• Extended periods of time spent standing or walking
