Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Project Controls & Analysis – Change Management Coordinator to join our team, based out of Calgary, AB The Project Controls & Analysis – Change Management Coordinator will be responsible for leading a programmatic change management process to deliver value to the portfolio of executing the Jasen Project by enabling a positive culture through a highly engaged workforce and visible leadership of Bantrel Charter Values and have the opportunity to work on the he Hatch Bantrel Joint Venture (HBJV) to execute engineering and construction on the BHP Jansen Potash Mine Project in Saskatchewan. in this full time permanent role and be a champion of diversity and inclusion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Applies an understanding of the business context, Bantrel/Hatch/BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.
  • Applies and evaluates change management tools, methods, data, purpose, value and strategic analysis.
  • Plans, tracks, and supports the delivery of project change management to generate value and drive the achievement of project and programmatic outcomes.
  • Liaisons between the Intergrated Project Team, Area Managers, CMT, and PC&A to understand, coordinate, and support the end-to-end change management process
  • Supports the interface between multiple projects in execution to deliver the optimum value to the investment.
  • Supports/Enables a culture of trust and performance within the IPT to deliver positive outcomes to the project and program.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Change Management focused position in construction projects or equivalent environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management and prioritization attributes.
  • Industry Knowledge - This individual will ideally bring experience from the industrial sector including, but not limited to, the mining, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, forestry, power/utilities, transportation and/or oil & gas industries.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills - This person will have a strong network across a diverse set of project functions with a robust reputation and an excellent track record of broader stakeholder activity. Strong influencing skills with an ability to interface across the entire project team.
  • Major Projects Experience - Experience in major capital projects spanning different phases would be considered an asset.
  • Education - Undergraduate degree in a related field (Construction Management; Business; Finance; Engineering) or equivalent experience is required. Any other relevant professional qualifications (PMP, etc.) will also be considered an asset
