The Carpenter is responsible for constructing the framework of residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.THE ROLE:Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materialsErect and install frameworks, including walls, floors, and roof systemsOperate power tools and hand tools safely and effectivelyInstall windows, doors, and other structures as requiredAssist in replacement of damaged framework or other structures and fixturesMaintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to health and safety guidelinesPerform additional duties as assigned by the supervisorREQUIREMENTS:Previous experience as a Wood Framer, CarpentryMust be proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment Own tool belt, hammer tape measure and basic tools is an assetMust have CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots, Hard Hat, Reflective VestMust be able to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis, bending, pushing, pullingMust be able to work from heightsMust be able to operate Man lift, Telehandler, Articulate Boom Lift or similar equipmentVocational training or Apprenticeship in Carpentry is an assetValid driver's license is an assetWHAT WE OFFER:$23.00 - $28.00 hour plus 4% vacation pay per hour Occupation Health and Safety TrainingPrompt weekly payroll through direct deposit onlyREFER TALENT.
