Position: Injection Moulding Supervisor Location: Oakville, ON Type: Full Time We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Supervisor to join our team in Oakville, ON. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our injection moulding operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and lead a team of injection moulding operators, ensuring they are trained, motivated and working in a safe and efficient manner - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process - Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues - Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed - Collaborate with other departments such as engineering and quality control to improve processes and resolve any production issues - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies - Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation - Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste - Train and mentor new employees on injection moulding processes and procedures Qualifications: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in injection moulding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role - Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong leadership and communication skills - Experience with lean manufacturing principles is an asset - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time - Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company.
