Responsibilities
  • Organize and ensure clear, concise communications with employees regarding status of jobs, delivery/returns, paperwork, procedures, training, meetings, and projects.
  • Assist Manager with work orders, jobs, and projects
  • Answer phone calls, take job requests from customers
  • Work closely Coordinator in booking and scheduling jobs
  • Responsible for scheduling: Traffic Technicians, Flaggers, Drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all jobs
  • Maintain the dispatch board, schedule, and perform record keeping as needed
  • Work with staffing agencies when seasonal staff are required to fulfill a job
  • Ensure accuracy of rental contact prior to dispatching drivers
  • Completion of appropriate seminars, meetings & training to keep abreast of changes in the industry
  • Strive to meet or exceed targeted goals
  • Forecast workload for 2-3 days' out
  • Assist Fleet Coordinator with questions/concerns regarding truck repairs and needs
  • Other duties as assigned
  • keeps track of our uniform inventory
  • approves all flagging hours
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in office administration is an asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in a variety of MS Office Suite products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in the Traffic Control/Construction Industry is an asset
