The Forklift operator will be responsible for handling of finished product during production as well as the loading of product during the shipping process.

This is a 40-hour a week position; weekend work may be required. This position is Seasonal typically operating May-November.

Located 6km West of Norquay, SK

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Production Supervision and management to determine priorities and courses of action to improve product quality and employee safety
• Ensure all company procedures are being followed
• Perform daily inspections of forklift
• At all times work in a manner that maintains the safety of themselves and others
• Report any issues on equipment to maintenance department
• Work extra hours as required to keep production running
• Additional duties as required
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Ability to operate forklift considered an asset (will certify on site)
• Experience in shipping considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 drivers license

Job requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have own means of transportation to and from work.
