Our client is one of Western Canada's Leading Consulting firms looking to hire on 2 Project Managers (Bridges) in their Edmonton offices.
Responsibilities
- Leading the planning, design, and technical implementation of bridge and bridge structure projects.
- Directing the project team in generating technical reports to meet project requirements and client expectations efficiently
- Estimating engineering fees and managing project budgets.
- Monitoring, controlling, and communicating project progress internally and externally.
- Contributing to proposal preparation and engaging in business development activities
- Employing Project Management principles to inspire and lead project teams effectively
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering or Project Management is an asset
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA
- 8+ years' progressive experience in Structural engineering and/or project management within the transportation market
- Proven project management experience.
- Technical expertise in the design and construction of bridges is considered an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Valid driver's license
- Ability to effectively manage budget and schedule delivery.
- Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
