We are seeking a dynamic Activities Coordinator to join our team in Calgary!

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan and create a diverse activities program that is engaging for international students.
  • Organize Three Guided Activities per week:
    • One in the morning (AM)
    • One in the afternoon (PM)
    • One for all students together
  • Promote activities creatively within the centre to increase participation and meet attendance goals.
  • Take photos and videos of activities, school events, and special occasions.
  • Manage the activities budget and submit reports on time.
  • Create and update the monthly activity schedule and weekly announcements in the Student Portal and in-center promotions.
  • Lead students to activities at various locations and support other activity leaders in developing Activity Plans.
  • Arrange and attend excursions (e.g., Banff, Lake Louise, Drumheller) with vendors or private tour operators.
  • Oversee activity programming for student groups.
  • Ensure activities provide English practice and cultural experiences while maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Maintain receipts and accurate budget records in coordination with the Student Services Department.
  • Prepare and report on Summer Holiday program logistics to the Centre Director and Student Services Manager.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the line manager or Centre Director.
