Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly based on experience and Required Mercury certifications

The ideal candidate is:

• Mercury Certification (required). Additional marine certifications, such as Yamaha, Johnson, or inboard/outboard, are considered an asset.
• Skilled in servicing inboard/outboard engines, as well as 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards.
• Someone who is mechanically and diagnostically inclined, has attention to detail and is good at explaining/teaching things
• Experienced, with 3 to 10 years of hands-on knowledge of boats, motors, and trailers.
• Passionate about boating and embraces the on-the-water lifestyle.

What will you be doing?

• Perform a variety of repairs, including electrical work, engine diagnostics and repairs, lower/outdrive unit servicing, routine maintenance, and warranty repairs/adjustments, to ensure top-quality service for our customers.
• Water test units upon request for performance issues, propping issues and new products ( valid Class G driver's license and boating license are required)
• Perform winterizations and services as required
• Build utility boats, side consoles, full windshield boats, pontoons and deck boats
• Maintain a high level of efficiency in your daily working time in the workshop
• Off site service calls as required
