Job Summary:

Canadian Fiber Optics Corp. is looking for a Customer Service Rep who is energetic, outgoing, and a progressive team member who can exceed our customers expectations. Ideally, candidates for this position will have experience in sales, customer service, accounting, and telephone support. Strong administration, organizational, planning, project coordination, and time management skills are a must.

What you will be doing:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally.
  • Listen actively to customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Proactively communicate project progress. Delays and changes to our customers to manage expectations effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge or our products/services to effectively assist customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complete customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Account creation, updates, and processing payments as well as send out invoices.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our system.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. Supporting with tier 1 technical support.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction would be considered an assist.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • A positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that requires weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
