DescriptionSpare is looking for a Product Operations Manager (Intermediate or Senior) to join our Product team!
While we are a remote first company and this position is hybrid - the ideal candidate for this role will be based in Vancouver, BC.
As a Product Operations Manager (Intermediate or Senior) at Spare, you will...
  • Implement and reinforce product development best practices to ensure alignment and streamline product delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to drive adoption and ensure the success of new products and services.
  • Optimize the product development lifecycle to improve speed, efficiency, and the integration of customer feedback.
  • Scale product initiatives to meet the needs of a growing customer base while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About this role✨As a Product Operations Manager (Intermediate or Senior), you will:
  • Strengthen the feedback loop between internal and external stakeholders
  • Enable a culture of continuous improvement within the Product and Engineering teams
  • Act as a liaison between product teams and other departments within Spare to ensure alignment and facilitate product-related initiatives.
  • Clear bottlenecks to execution of product roadmaps and release schedules.
  • Select, implement, and maintain the tools and software that product teams use for tracking progress, managing roadmaps, and communicating releases(currently Mixpanel, Jira, Linear, Intercom, and Notion).
  • Define, track, and communicate product performance metrics. Conduct analysis to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize the product development lifecycle to expedite the journey from concept to customer.
  • Improve our systems for gathering, analyzing, and integrating customer feedback into the product development process.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the Product and Engineering teams
  • Create cross-functional alignment to facilitate product-related initiatives.
  • Scale product initiatives to meet the growing demand of our expanding customer base.
  • Communicate effectively with customers at scale, ensuring their needs and feedback are heard and acted upon.
  • Collaborate closely with the Growth team to align on product development and communicate how new features will solve customer challenges.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers to understand their pain points and incorporate their feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, driving alignment between product, engineering, and other departments to meet both long-term company goals and customer demands.
  • Establish and maintain a scalable product operations framework that supports rapid growth, optimizing processes for collaboration, communication, and execution across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve systemic inefficiencies within product development, working with senior leadership to implement solutions that enhance overall team performance and drive product success.

About you ✨You have:
  • 1+ year of SaaS Product experience, either in a Product Management or Operations Role
  • A creative mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure product and team success.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, ready to innovate and take ownership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • An enthusiasm to coordinate, and host team events, along with an openness to travel to hackathons, off-sites and customer sites
  • Ability to travel to the United States as needed to support project initiatives
  • An ability to thrive in ambiguity
