Total Experience- 4-6 years Required Skill Set:As a Software License Manager, candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of software licenses.Take priority on compliance, ensuring client uses software properly and avoid costly legal risks.Candidate will also do a cost optimization, finding ways to streamline software usage that helps negotiate better licensing deals.Develop and implement software license strategies, best practices, and procedures.Manage software licenses across their lifecycle: acquisition, deployment, compliance, renewal.Oversee software asset inventory.Use software metering and license expiry data to track license utilization for real-time enforcement of license compliance and to reduce legal and audit risks.Optimize software spend through license agreements and ensuring licenses are not underutilized.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SaaS applications with ServiceNow SAM Pro.Manage and oversee the entitlement upload process for in-scope software publishers.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation and integrations.Software management requires the creation and application of publisher-specific packs and plugins.Collaborate with IT, procurement, and legal teams.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software asset management processes.Experience with software licensing models and ServiceNowSAM Pro functionality with major publishers like Oracle, Veritas, VMWare, Adobe.Hands-on experience of ServiceNow toolset and other ITAM technologies.What soft skills: Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
