We are seeking a Robotics Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in the Waterloo, ON region.
Shift - 8 hrs rotating
Pay - Depends on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and maintain industrial robots used in automotive manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot and repair robotic systems, ensuring minimal downtime in production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on robotic arms, controllers, and other automation equipment.
  • Calibrate and fine-tune robotic movements for optimal efficiency and precision.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve robotic automation processes.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Train production staff on the proper use and maintenance of robotic systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in robotic programming languages (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman).
    • Knowledge of PLCs, HMI systems, and automation integration.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with vision systems and sensor technologies.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with robotic welding, painting, or assembly applications.
  • Certification in industrial robotics or automation systems.
