Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-planning of job including Rig site survey, load out of equipment, and optimization/witnessing of green tagging equipment prior to job mobilization.
- Optimize existing MPD procedures and documentation regarding equipment, drilling, influx.
- management, well stability, best practices, etc.
- Identify new technology requirements to improve efficiency.
- Lead key projects that become world class, resulting in operational efficiency improvement, and strengthening our position in the global market.
- Perform failure analysis on problem jobs, coordinating with all parties involved (i.e. customer, operations, engineering, and quality.)
- Provide high level technical guidance to sales & field operations.
- Builds an understanding of Premium Oilfield Technologies technical capabilities and service and effectively communicates product line services and technology to customers.
- Provide feedback and advice internally/externally about operational, technical, QHSE and engineering practices/ requests/ challenges.
- Ensure all company required paperwork and reporting is done on time and communication between main office/ client is effective and efficient.
- Supervision and execution of all matters related to Managed Pressure Drilling with no supervision.
Experience / Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in drilling operations (preferably with MPD systems and engineering execution in the field), with at least 3-5 years MPD supervisory dedicated experience.
- Understanding of safety procedures and compliance regulations
- Ability to communicate product benefits and features effectively to customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues effectively and professionally.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with customers. The role requires extended periods in the field, including potentially harsh and remote environments.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, handle equipment, and withstand outdoor conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some lifting to 45 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be inclined to inclement weather including, but not limited to, extreme heat and/or cool temperatures.
