Job Description
  • Perform all shipping and receiving functions, including loading and unloading trucks and containers with attention to safety and efficiency
  • Pick, pack, process, audit, and wrap customer orders within a computerized ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and complete documentation, including Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs), maintaining precise record-keeping
  • Adhere to and promote continuous improvement initiatives, conforming to departmental and company standards
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and function effectively in a team atmosphere
  • Assist other staff as required, fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve logistics processes and efficiency
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and implement new procedures as directed
  • Assist in training new team members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

PREFERRED:

  • 2+ years shipping/receiving experience
  • Familiar with computerized ERP systems
  • Licensed to operate Forklift and Overhead Cranes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Computerized ERP, EDI
