One of our clients is looking for an Industrial Electrician in Barrie, ON region for their facilities.

Shifts: Day and Afternoon

Pay - $39.93 per hour and 0.50 shift premium

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to enhancing the existing infrastructure and resolving equipment issues.

• Diagnose operational problems in machinery, employing blueprints, meters, and instruments to identify and rectify the root cause of the malfunction.

• Examine electrical schematics and use them to guide or complete electrical installations.

• Affix relevant electrical ratings and power source labels to machinery and equipment.

• Leverage manuals, online resources, and professional contacts to acquire knowledge about equipment for repair purposes, and explore alternative sources for repair and replacement items.

• Conduct research to identify necessary materials for constructing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.

• Manage the procurement of electrical supplies and maintain adequate stock levels for timely repairs.

• Effectively communicate and provide training to associates regarding any machine-related changes.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications from a college or a trade-specific institution and/or completion of an apprenticeship program.

• Possession of a valid Industrial Electrician License (442A) is essential.

• A minimum of five years of industrial experience is required.

• Proficiency in Allen Bradley RSLogix, Omron CX Programmer, and Siemens is preferred.
