One of our clients is looking for an Industrial Electrician in Barrie, ON region for their facilities.
Shifts: Day and Afternoon
Pay - $39.93 per hour and 0.50 shift premium
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to enhancing the existing infrastructure and resolving equipment issues.
Diagnose operational problems in machinery, employing blueprints, meters, and instruments to identify and rectify the root cause of the malfunction.
Examine electrical schematics and use them to guide or complete electrical installations.
Affix relevant electrical ratings and power source labels to machinery and equipment.
Leverage manuals, online resources, and professional contacts to acquire knowledge about equipment for repair purposes, and explore alternative sources for repair and replacement items.
Conduct research to identify necessary materials for constructing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
Manage the procurement of electrical supplies and maintain adequate stock levels for timely repairs.
Effectively communicate and provide training to associates regarding any machine-related changes.
Education and Experience:
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications from a college or a trade-specific institution and/or completion of an apprenticeship program.
Possession of a valid Industrial Electrician License (442A) is essential.
A minimum of five years of industrial experience is required.
Proficiency in Allen Bradley RSLogix, Omron CX Programmer, and Siemens is preferred.
