The College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC, or the College) is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the xmkym (Musqueam), Swxw7mesh (Squamish), and slilwta (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. The College regulates over 10,000 health professionals across British Columbia, including chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopathic physicians, and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists.
Formed on June 28, 2024, through the amalgamation of four provincial health profession regulators, the College was established as part of the Ministry of Healths initiative to modernize the health profession regulatory framework in B.C. Its primary role is to protect public health and safety by licensing and regulating health professionals and the settings in which they practice. This includes ensuring that every health professional within its purview is fully qualified to provide safe and ethical care.
About This Employment Opportunity
The College is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Application Analyst (Lead) to serve as the primary escalation point for IT support staff.
Reporting to the IT Manager, and working closely with CCHPBC team members, stakeholders, and contractors, the Business Application Analyst (Lead) will be responsible for leading themanagement, support, and optimization of business applications, including our newCRM system. This role bridges technical support with business operations by ensuring applications are effectively utilized, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing insights throughreport generation and data analysis. Additionally, this individual will play acritical role in external vendor managementand takeownership of security initiativesfollowing the completion of the IT security assessment. They will also act as akey support resource for the IT Manager, assisting with IT initiatives, process improvements, and executive reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Technical Support & Escalations:
- Serve as theprimary lead for Level 1 IT escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Provide guidance and support toIT support staffto enhance overall IT service delivery.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolvinghardware, software, and network-relatedissues.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to escalate and resolve complex IT concerns.
Business Applications and CRM Support:
- Serve as thesubject matter expertfor the organization'sCRM and other business applications.
- Managesystem administration, user management, and access controlfor business applications.
- Troubleshootapplication errors, workflow inefficiencies, and user challengesto ensure smooth operation.
- Providetraining and documentationto end-users, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Ensuredata integrity and validation, supporting accurate reporting and analytics.
Vendor and Security Management:
- Act as theprimary lead for external vendor management, overseeing contracts, service agreements, and issue resolution.
- Liaise with vendors to ensureoptimal performance, service delivery, and alignment with business needs.
- Takeownership of IT security initiativesfollowing thecompletion of the IT security assessment, working with internal and external stakeholders to implement security improvements.
- Assist in developing and enforcingIT security policies and best practicesacross the organization.
Reporting and Data Analysis:
- Assist with generatingreports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)for various business applications.
- Preparedata-driven insightsfor the IT Manager, executive leadership, and stakeholders.
- Supportreport automationand process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work with teams across departments to gather requirements and develop custom reports as needed.
IT Projects and Strategic Support:
- Play akey role in IT initiatives, assisting in the implementation of new technologies and business solutions.
- Providedirect support to the IT Managerin executing IT strategies, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Participate invendor management and contract evaluationsfor business applications.
- Help drivechange management initiativesrelated to IT and business applications.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or degree inInformation Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ yearsof experience in IT support, business applications, or systems administration.
- Strong experience withCRM platforms(Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HubSpot, or similar).
- Background inbusiness application support, vendor management, and IT security initiatives.
- Proficiency inWindows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and IT troubleshooting.
- Experience withSQL, Power BI, or other reporting toolsis an asset.
- Knowledge ofnetworking fundamentals, cloud-based applications, and security best practices.
- Familiarity withhelpdesk ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.
- Strongproblem-solving and analytical skillswith a strategic mindset.
- Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability tomulti-task, prioritize, and work independentlyin a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment toaccuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Proactive and adaptable, with acontinuous improvement mindset.
An individual who meets either the established formal qualifications or the accepted equivalency may be considered equally for this role.
Compensation and Perks
The compensation for this position ranges from $91,360 to $102,780 annually, based on a 37.5-hour work week. The starting salary will be determined by factors such as the candidates job-related knowledge, skills, experience, the salaries of peers within the same range, market conditions, and other relevant considerations.
