Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for EXPERIENCED BACKHOE / SKID STEER OPERATORS to join our team for the upcoming 2025 road construction season that is just around the corner.

This is a full time seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits.

The primary duties will include but are not limited to:

• Ensure “pre-trips” and all Daily Equipment Checklists are completed daily and any equipment concerns are addressed to your foreman.
• Complete all daily maintenance on equipment required for continued safe functioning.
• Efficiently move material: dumping, placing, and loading of material into trucks.
• Hauling trailers, equipment, cement, or construction materials, in accordance with all safe work practices and legal regulations/

In addition, you may be asked to perform general labour duties as needed. These tasks could include but are not limited to:

• Performs general labourer work: digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear (jumping jacks, tampers, etc.), using a concrete chop saw, and other labour activities associated with constructing the required project.
• Placement of construction materials (by hand or use of equipment)
• Setup, check, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications required for the project.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves, as required.

They will also possess a valid driver's license and have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties.
