About the Project:
Digital Health, a Shared Health service, is leading the transformation of healthcare delivery through innovative information and communication technology solutions. This initiative focuses on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in information management across the provincial health sector. As part of this project, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the successful implementation of critical digital healthcare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale digital health projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the provincial health sector to align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Oversee risk management, change management, and business transformation processes.
- Manage project teams, ensuring seamless coordination between technical and business resources.
- Develop and execute implementation plans for healthcare systems and applications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Mandatory Certifications (Proof of certification required):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Management of Risk (MoR) Foundation or Practitioner certification
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
Preferred Certification:
- Prosci Change Management certification
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Team Manager delivering information systems and business transformation projects.
- 7+ years of experience managing system implementations in a Long-Term Care or Acute Care environment.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst handling requirements definition and management, with at least one project in a healthcare setting.
- 5+ years of experience as a Test Manager leading QA teams in test strategy development and execution.
- 3+ years of experience managing projects for provincial-level Homecare programs, including patient registration and clinical documentation.
- 3+ years of experience implementing or upgrading Allscripts applications in a healthcare environment.
- 1+ year of experience developing implementation plans for new healthcare facility systems and processes.
