Role Overview:
We are looking for an Independent Fleet Manager in Cochrane, AB, who has their own truck or van for transporting e-scooters and access to a garage or secure space for charging them. In this role, you will play a key part in managing, rebalancing, and maintaining Bird's fleet to ensure the community has access to safe, fully charged scooters.

This opportunity is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, managing their own schedule, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport e-scooters using your own truck or van for charging, deployment, and retrieval.
• Use your personal garage or secure space to charge scooters efficiently.
• Monitor fleet operations using Bird's technology to ensure availability and optimal performance.
• Relocate scooters to high-demand areas to maximize usage.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and ensure scooters remain in top condition.
• Act as your own boss, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively

Must-Have Requirements:

• Must own a truck or van capable of transporting multiple e-scooters at a time.
• Must have access to a garage or secure space with electrical outlets for charging scooters.
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Strong familiarity with Cochrane and surrounding areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• This is an independent contractor role, not an employee position.
• You are responsible for providing your own vehicle, charging space, and any necessary equipment.
• You manage your own schedule and workload to meet operational needs.
• Compensation is based on completed tasks and fleet performance.
