- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, including compliance with regulations.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and termination processes to support workforce needs.
- Manage employee relations, drive change management initiatives, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support and administer health and safety initiatives, including WSIB compliance and the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
- Utilize HRIS systems for workforce management and maintain accurate personnel records.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience in HR, preferably in Health & Safety or a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll administration, and disability management is an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures for HR operations.
- Background in Plastic Injection or Automotive manufacturing is preferred.
