Our award-winning team is growing, and Barnett Dembeck Architects is hiring a Senior Architectural Technologist to be based out of our Surrey office.

We are a young, design-oriented firm specializing in residential, mixed-use, commercial, and civic buildings. We are currently working on large-scale projects including wood-frame multi family to residential high-rise projects. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team.

About the Position:
We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist that must be registered with the AIBC, or be eligible to register with the AIBC.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years BC experience, including comprehensive knowledge of wood-frame construction
• Strong design abilities
• Thorough understanding of the BCBC and VBBL
• Fluency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, as well as Sketchup
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
• Experience with the preparation of Development Permits, Building Permits and Construction drawings
• Experience working directly with clients and consultant coordination
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with Construction Administration.
