We are currently seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a team of security professionals at a high-profile transportation site. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's passengers, employees, and assets. Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership, support and supervision to a team of security personnel, including training, coaching and performance management
• Verifies the completion of patrols, daily log reports, and incident reports
• Supports with scheduling of security personnel
• Maintains knowledge of the site including the operation of equipment, site plans, and relevant site documentation including post orders, guidelines and procedures.
• Participates in emergency simulations and ensures that security personnel have appropriate training and information for emergency response.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard license and First Aid CPR
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CCTV systems
• Previous security experience, preferably in high traffic settings
• Proficiency with different types of fire extinguisher and other fire protection equipment, and familiarity with detection and alarm systems.
• Knowledge of Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long period up to 12 hours.
• College Diploma or University Degree in Police Foundations, Law enforcement or equivalent is an asset.
• Bilingual communication skills (English & French) are an asset.

Pay rate: $20.40 per hour
