About the Role

Our software runs in AWS Cloud, backend is built on Ruby on Rails framework, and we rely on React libraries on the frontend.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer experienced in building production level software with these technologies. Someone who takes pride in architecting and building quality software, someone who can keep us at the modern era of frontend development; a developer with an eye for great design and empathy for the user experience.

We want someone to lead frontend efforts setting high standards but also be able to contribute to software architecture design and implementation. Good communication skills written and verbal are important for collaboration of diverse teams.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional software and setting high standards for frontend work, while also bringing a wider skill set to the team.

Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will work closely with a diverse team across engineering, design, and product.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on frontend and full-stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and integrating frontend components with backend services
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

What We Offer:

• The expected salary range for this role is $140,000 - 150,000 CAD.
