Job DescriptionDistribution Stox is on the lookout for a dynamic, driven, and results-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team of business professionals! We have an established position available in Sudbury and the surrounding regions, offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to contribute to our continued growth and success in the vital field of passenger tire distribution.
As an Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in developing new business opportunities, relationship management with existing clients, and driving growth in the region. If you're a high-energy, strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, this is your chance to shine in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to grow our client base and meet sales objectives in your region.
- Territory Action Planning: Identify opportunities within your region and create actionable plans to maximize their potential.
- Account Management: Drive the renewal and growth of annual agreements with key accounts, cultivate lasting relationships, and maintain comprehensive records of interactions to ensure seamless, full-cycle account management.
- Business Development: Using your business acumen you will guide the sales process from identifying decision-makers to closing major contracts.
- Technical Expertise: As a key distributor of major global tire brands in Canada, you will advise clients on our wide range of products and help guide their buying habits.
- Market Analysis: Using a broad range of digital tools, you will conduct regular analysis of your market and clients to maximize potential and uncover new opportunities.
- Corporate Engagement: Participate in events and initiatives to enhance client relationships and company visibility, as well as training opportunities.
- Relevant education in Logistics, Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.
- 3-5+ years of business development and account management experience.
- Proven success in on-the-road/field sales (preferably in wholesale/distribution).
- Expertise in strategic selling and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Strong ability to build relationships across all organizational levels, including executives.
- Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and achieve results efficiently.
- Results-driven with excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a keen eye on opportunities.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and intermediate-level Microsoft Excel.
- Frequent travel within Sudbury, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, and surrounding areas is required, with minimal overnight stays (less than 15%).
