Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for an experienced Field Operator for our Dawson Creek branch. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, conversant with the industry standards and practices of today's safety-focused Oil & Gas sector, and have a minimum of 3 years previous experience as an operator.

This position offers an 8/6 shift with the opportunity to be home every night! Due to the nature of this project, no camp or LOA is available. Candidates must live within the Dawson Creek region to be considered.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in upstream light Oil & Gas well operations or maintenance
• This is a full time Contract operator position, therefore applicants must have their own truck, tools and limited company
• Must have a good mechanical aptitude and is skilled at troubleshooting
• Prior experience in artificial lift systems, primarily plunger lifts
• Well developed interpersonal skills with “Team First” mentality
• Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
• Must live within commuting distance of Dawson Creek, BC
