Grain Millers is an international agri-business with interests in whole grain manufacturing, merchandising, Grain, and oilseed milling and other Value-added Manufacturing. Our plants are located across North America with our Canadian headquarters in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

We are currently hiring a Temporary Warehouse Labourer. The term is set for 5 months. This position is scheduled to work Mon-Fri 8 hrs./days.

The Warehouse Labourer is a member of the Warehouse team and may carry out all duties and responsibilities of assisting in the Forklift and Packaging department(s) as required. This position works cooperatively with all members of the departments as well as other staff to ensure production goals and efficiencies are met.

This position is responsible for:

• Direct handling of products: Manual lifting, stacking, loading and unloading of product
• Operating of power equipment including forklifts
• Re-work, re-stack ,re-feed etc. of product
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into the warehouse management system as required.
• This position must be knowledgeable in the operation, monitoring and testing processes of the metal detector.
• Provide labour assistance where needed on various production lines.
• Must maintain the warehouse operations in a clean and food safe environment.

• Candidates with a high school diploma
• Must have experience or can acquire the skill and efficiency of operating handheld inventory scanners and working in automated warehouse operation.
• Must hold or could hold a valid Sask. forklift operator certificate.
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs, work at heights and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to work in a grain processing environment.
