Job Responsibilities:
The requirement is for migration of API components from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to OpenShift Container Platform 4 (OCP4).
Key Focus Areas:
API Optimization: Ensuring smooth API integration in the OCP4 environment.
Containerization: Shifting workloads to a containerized infrastructure for better resource management.
Security & Credentials Management: Preserving the secure handling of credentials during migration.
Job Description:
Must Have Java development (Java vertex / Java Spring boot)
Experience in developing API via above java frameworks
o Experience and Understanding of Rest ful API development
o Comprehensive knowledge of API endpoint parameters;response formats (JSON/XML) , usage.
o Clear concepts of efficient API logics of data validation and exception handling.
o API performance tuning end enhancements
Must have:
Routing
Authentication UAA and login server
Application life cycle ( Cloud controller , Diego brain , nsync , BBS , Cell reps)
App storage (Diego cell and blob storage)
Messaging (Internal sync via HTTP / HTTPS and BBS)
Service brokers
Basic understanding of PCF architecture (Bosh , Bosh directory , Opsman)
Nice to have:
Through knowledge of Kubernetes cluster setup and installation , both (manually and via automation (IAC Terraform)
Understanding of each component and subcomponents involved in the orchestration
Understanding of each K8 services
Understanding of Routing/networking (Ingress/Egress)
Basic of each YAML
Top 3 Required Skills:
