Assistant Retail Manager with a passion for running and yoga.

We are looking for a new sales team leader who has a passion for fitness, running, and the yoga community. As the Assistant Retail Manager, you would be responsible for managing the sales floor and Sales Associate team.

Must be passionate about healthy/active living and have a strong appreciation for running and yoga. Must also have a conversational understanding of running/yoga and the role it plays in a healthy and active lifestyle.

The Finer Print

• Full-time, salaried position (35-40 hours per week)
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
• All employees' availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time. This could include aiding with events outside of store hours

Manage the Sales Floor and Sales Associate Team

• Lead the sales team (~5-6 Sales Associates) to hit sales targets. Work with store leadership and other Managers to achieve business objectives.
• Training, coaching, and motivating your team to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service. Handle all hiring/firing of Sales Associates + the new staff onboarding process.
• Train staff on new products, sales techniques, and incentive programs. Conduct monthly 1-on-1s with Sales Team.
• Scheduling.
• Lead team with all day-to-day sales floor operations.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Enhance the customer experience and maintain customer relationships.
• Responsible for all visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of RETAIL management/customer service experience required.
• Performance footwear and/or technical apparel sales are preferred.
• Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
