Position: Journeyman & Apprentice Boilermakers Turnaround (Olds, AB)

We are currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Boilermakers (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project in Olds, AB, starting April 7, 2025.

Project Details:

• Location: Olds, AB (Calgary area)
• Start Date: April 20, 2025
• Retention Bonus & Paid Travel Time

Qualifications & Education:

• Journeyman Certificate or active Apprenticeship in Boilermaking
• Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015
• Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Fall Protection, Confined Space, and First Aid
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing

Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, with expertise in essential Boilermaker tasks including blinding/deblinding equipment, pulling and installing exchanger bundles, rigging, hoisting, and hydro testing.
• Perform internal vessel work, maintaining full compliance with industry safety standards, and ensure adherence to Canocos safety protocols and client-specific requirements.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making situations, with effective communication and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Take initiative in contributing to the development and implementation of a training program for Boilermaker roles, with ongoing opportunities to participate in and support additional training initiatives.
