ABOUT YOU:

When you join Tribute, you'll be part of a mission-driven team creating meaningful digital experiences for the funeral profession and the families they serve. We're looking for a strategic, detail-oriented UI/UX Designer who thrives in collaboration and fast-paced environments. You'll develop intuitive, visually compelling solutions across family-focused tools and eCommerce systems, ensuring seamless functionality for both B2B and B2C users. A strong communicator and team player, you embrace feedback and believe great design comes from collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design & Execution
    • Create and refine personas, customer journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Miro.
    • Translate complex requirements into intuitive web and mobile experiences.
    • Contribute to a design system for consistency across products.
    • Stay informed on digital trends and emerging technologies.
  • User Research & Strategy
    • Engage with customers and stakeholders to inform strategy, roadmaps, and user journeys.
    • Conduct user interviews and usability testing of prototypes.
    • Use qualitative and quantitative data to improve user experience.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work with product managers to integrate UX into product roadmaps.
    • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design intent is maintained.
    • Facilitate design workshops and collaborative sessions.
    • Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Quality & Implementation
    • Oversee design implementation for a cohesive user experience.
    • Advocate for accessibility best practices.
    • Provide creative direction and contribute to UX process improvements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong attention to detail and high design standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to advocate for design and present ideas clearly.
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility.
  • Experience in Agile development with product and engineering teams.
  • Deep knowledge of design systems, including principles and patterns.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Familiarity with branding and marketing alignment for consistency.

**Portfolio strongly recommended; HR will likely pass if they are not able to view portfolio with resume/ CV!
