We are seeking a Gas Fitter to join our client's manufacturing team in the Sault Ste. Marie region.
Shift - Day/Afternoon
Pay - $23 - $25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas lines, meters, regulators, and appliances.

• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national gas codes and safety regulations.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot gas equipment issues and provide effective solutions.

• Perform leak detection tests and ensure proper ventilation for gas appliances.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid Gas Fitter G2 or G3 certification.

• Previous experience in gas fitting, HVAC, or a related field is an asset.

• Knowledge of gas appliances, piping systems, and safety standards.

• Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as required.
