Position Overview
The Warehouse Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring that efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met. This role involves leading and mentoring unionized staff, including lead hands, to foster a productive work environment. The Warehouse Support Supervisor will coordinate logistics and streamline workflows to align with the organization's strategic objectives and performance goals. Additionally, the Warehouse Support Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting Warehouse Supervisors, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of warehouse operations by maintaining high standards and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

The Warehouse Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring that efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met. This role involves leading and mentoring unionized staff, including lead hands, to foster a productive work environment. The Warehouse Support Supervisor will coordinate logistics and streamline workflows to align with the organization's strategic objectives and performance goals. Additionally, the Warehouse Support Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting Warehouse Supervisors, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of warehouse operations by maintaining high standards and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Assign work orders to warehouse associates based on business needs and production demands.
- Monitor and communicate productivity, time gaps, and accuracy of warehouse associates.
- Update and review KPI reports and boards every 2 hours to track performance.
- Ensure floor staff adhere to shift start times and scheduled breaks.
- Review progress with the supervisor hourly to align with shift plans and priorities.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving using the ERP system.
- Respond to inquiries promptly, maintain clear communication with team members, and address employee concerns.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide training to maintain compliance.
Ideal Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in warehouse operations, including leadership roles.
- Knowledge of ERP software and warehouse management systems.
- Able to demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). An asset.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Solid analytical skills with a focus on operational efficiency and performance improvement.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within warehouse operations.

- This position is an onsite 5 days as per company policy
