Duties:
- Collaborate with the design team to review project requirements, including measurements, materials, and installation techniques.
- Prepare surfaces for vinyl application
- Precisely cut and trim vinyl graphics using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Install vinyl graphics on various surfaces such as vehicles, walls, windows, floors, and signage, ensuring proper alignment and smooth application.
- Apply techniques such as heat application and squeegee usage to achieve seamless installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage and disposal of materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
Skill/Requirements:
- A valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently or part of a team with limited supervision
- Must be able to follow complex directions with guidance from management.
- Exceptional time management skills, prioritizing jobs in accordance with deadlines
- Attention to detail is a must
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet scheduled deadlines
- Able to determine layout and installation procedures from workorders/drawings
- Able to read tape measure and rulers for installations
- Load and unload truck with supplies, equipment, and put stock away
- Standing for extended periods on shift
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (primarily day shifts but occasionally need to work overtime or on a weekend to meet deadline)
- Able to lift/carry heavy objects
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts and scaffolding when needed
