We're looking for leaders who are creative, enthusiastic, and ready to have fun while supporting our vibrant and growing community. If this sounds like you, we want to meet you!
What YOU'RE Responsible for:
As the Summer Programs Coordinator, you'll take the lead in crafting an exciting and safe summer experience by:

• Designing, implementing, and evaluating full day summer camps, as well as the Summer in the Park program.
• Providing guidance and leadership to a team of eight summer staff.
• Planning and delivering staff orientation and safety training to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
• Managing budgets, inventory to promote camps and programs.
• Engaging with parents/guardians, contractors, and your team to maintain smooth communication and ensure a positive experience.
• Leveraging your creativity to organize fun activities, crafts, games, and sports.
• Performing administrative tasks using Outlook and registration software.
• Supporting Recreation events and stepping in wherever needed to make summer shine.
• Other duties as assigned

What YOU Bring:
We're looking for someone who's not just qualified but passionate. You'll be perfect for this role if you have:

• A background (or are studying) in Recreation, Education, Child-Care, or a related field.
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers.
• A knack for planning and delivering programs, especially for children (bonus if you've worked in camps!).
• A vibrant personality with loads of energy, creativity, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A strong commitment to customer service and building positive relationships with children, parents, and your team.
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention screening.
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to acquire at own cost)

What WE Offer:

• An hourly rate of $20.77
• Membership to the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre.
• Full-time hours (up to 40 per week) for 17 amazing weeks from May 5 to August 29, 2025.
• Occasional evening and weekend work to keep the fun going.
