Position: Senior Buyer

Location: near Essex, ON

Salary + RELOCATION

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in business or related field preferred
• Minimum 2+ years in a Purchasing/Buyer role with experience in packaging procurement (CPG preferred).
• Experience in packaging procurement, contract negotiations, and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills with vendor negotiation skills and ability to mentor junior buyers.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, ERP software.

Overview:

• Develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Lead procurement initiatives, negotiate contracts, and oversee direct and indirect spending.
• Track orders, optimize inventory, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Issue RFQs, analyze bids, and maintain procurement performance metrics.
