As the IT Support Specialist in our Kelowna or Penticton, BC office, youll play a key role in ensuring that our employeeswhether working in the office or remotelyhave the IT resources they need. From answering calls and reaching out on Teams to in-person visits, you'll be on the frontlines, providing guidance and troubleshooting to ensure our team can keep moving forward.

You might start your day by diving into helping a team member whos having trouble with their VPN, and then pivot to troubleshooting a software issue thats preventing someone from completing a critical task. In this role, youll also:

  • Set Up Computers: Every new employee, or any employee upgrading their hardware, will rely on you to set up their computer with the required software, install the VPN, make sure the antivirus is running smoothly, and ensure they have access to all the necessary cloud-based programs.
  • Keep Everything Organized: With your attention to detail, youll document IT procedures, set up tracking systems for computers, accessories, software, and user licenses, keeping us fully organized and up to date.
  • Manage Domain Administration: Youll be in charge of granting user access, handling security configurations, and managing other domain-related settings to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

The starting salary range for this role is $65,000 $80,000. The salary range maximum signifies required certifications and full job knowledge.

Were looking for someone who has a mix of technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with people who may not speak your language when it comes to IT. Heres what were hoping youll bring to the table:

  • Experience & Certifications: Previous experience in IT , especially working with office-based and remote employees. Vendor certifications from HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Microsoft 365 Certified (experience with SharePoint, MS Office Suite, and One Drive) and familiarity with Firewalls.
  • Customer Service Mindset: Youll need to be friendly, approachable, and able to explain technical concepts in a way that non-technical users will get.
  • Software/Cloud-Based Program Experience: Experience working with programs like Sage 300 Construction, Sage Paperless (Desktop and RDP), Procore, Bluebeam, and Benchmark.
