Position: Vice President – Eastern Canada

Location: Ontario, Canada

Status: Full Time, Permanent

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 / year

This role will be responsible for leading the expansion of our product and service offerings, aligning with the strategic plan and operating capital budgets. Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors.
  • Increase market share by obtaining new client accounts.
  • Mentor & collaborate with sales team to grow net-new business throughout Eastern Canada.
  • Creates, implements, and communicates the organization's operations division's strategic direction.
  • Provides experience and advise on operations initiatives and systems while collaborating with executive leadership to define and meet corporate goals.
  • To achieve the organization's aims and objectives, collaborates with other divisions and departments.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements innovative procedures, technologies, and systems to optimize and streamline organizational operations and resource and material use.
  • Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are consistent with the organization's business plan and vision.
  • To ensure effective and consistent support and execution, establishes, communicates, and executes operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures.
  • Examines and approves cost-control reports, cost projections, and project staffing needs.
  • Establishes and manages the budget for the department.
  • Keeps up to date with new technology and trends in operations management.
  • Determines training requirements and ensures that appropriate training is produced and delivered.
  • Identify and prospect strategic accounts across the customer base to set meetings to discuss capabilities.
  • Work with leadership to implement market-driven strategies to achieve agreed-upon revenue goals and the company's mission.
  • Develop and maintain high-profile external relationships within client constituents, professional organizations, etc. (public relations presence).
  • Develop strategy to meet sales targets for growth in existing accounts and new client acquisition.
  • Leads sales approach for each new opportunity including identification, needs assessment, and tailoring service offerings to client needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in outbound sales management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B sales environment, preferable in a high touch client service industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, a Masters of Business Administration, or related field is a requirement
  • Established history of developing and growth of a market
  • Candidate must be dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Health and Safety NCSO Certification and experience with a continuous improvement culture would be an asset
  • Lean Six Sigma trained and certified is considered an asset
  • You have a proven track record of hitting quota, overcoming objections, and designing & executing opportunity plans that generate growth
  • Industry knowledge is considered a strong asset
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills and experience leading a small team of outbound sales representatives and account managers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong customer-focused mentality
  • Merger and acquisition experience
  • Good working knowledge of data analysis and KPIs (Ideally PowerBI)
  • Data-driven mindset and comfort leveraging CRM platforms, Excel and other key sales-enablement tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions
