Were seeking a customer service specialist to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region to support our main office in Port Carling.Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing existing and prospective customers with a positive experience of SIFFT by acting as the first face and voice customers engage with when contacting our company.
What youll do
- Act as the first face and voice customers and employees engage with when contacting our company by answering the phone, welcoming office visitors, and managing our incoming email communication.
- Support our companys human resources functions, including administering our employee database, health & dental benefits, and employee training.
- Support company-wide communications and coordinate company events.
- Act as backup support for securing ESA permits and liaising with Hydro One for service order layouts/disconnects/reconnects and locates as required.
- Assist in other duties as required by the direct supervisor.
Experience and qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Computer literate with solid knowledge of MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel)
- Previous electrical or construction industry administrative experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a human resources, marketing or public relations role would be an asset.
