You will have the opportunity to be exposed to interdepartmental operations that you wouldn't have access to at a larger brokerage.

Job Description:As a Surety Broker, you will be responsible for expanding our surety client base, building relationships with contractors, and providing bonding solutions tailored to meet their project needs. You will work closely with underwriting, marketing, and support teams to ensure our clients' bonding needs are met efficiently and effectively.
We're looking for someone who's comfortable with remote work, charismatic, goal-setter, and self-starter, with the ability to manage accounts independently. We will give you the tools, support, and systems for you to excel.
We offer higher commissions than most brokerages and will be supplying marketing qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients requiring surety solutions, including bid, performance, and payment bonds.

• Build relationships with contractors, developers, and construction firms to generate leads.

• Educate clients on the value of surety bonding and provide recommendations that meet their needs.

• Collaborate with underwriting to deliver appropriate bonding solutions for clients.

• Attend industry events and network to expand client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.

• RIBO or ACSB licensed.

• Strong understanding of surety products, the construction industry, and bonding requirements.

• Proven ability to develop and grow a book of business in the surety sector.
