Position Overview: The Program Coordinator, School Engagement is responsible for amplifying the work of Student Engagement Coordinators and Program Coordinators across the province. This role collaborates closely with the Provincial Manager, School Engagement, School Engagement Coordinators, and CAREERS Program Coordinators to promote the vision, mission, and values of CAREERS while introducing youth to promising career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all Division Agreements related to School Engagement Coordinator positions.
• Facilitate onboarding processes, including acquiring emails, business cards, and other necessary materials for new secondees.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings between divisions, Provincial Manager, and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate Salesforce data entry for agreements and meetings.
• Maintain high-quality Salesforce records regarding updates for Superintendents, Corporate Secretaries, and Secondees.
• Organize and manage Campaigns/Lists for active secondees.
• Develop and deliver reports as requested by the Provincial Manager, School Engagement.
• Ensure compliance with FOIP and privacy legislation in communications and messaging.
• Create a streamlined, automated orientation process for secondees.
• Develop and maintain a School Engagement Coordinator Toolkit, ensuring secondees have easy access to necessary files and materials.
• Design and facilitate training for various portals, including the Secondee Portal, Teacher Portal, and Student Portal.
• Conduct live portal training sessions at regular intervals and maintain a database of recorded sessions for future use.
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst and Salesforce Development team for portal upgrades and testing.
• Schedule ongoing training sessions as guided by the Provincial Manager, School Engagement to foster a community of practice among secondees.
• Assist with approving secondee expenses beyond the scope of Regional Managers.
• Work with Marketing and Regional Managers to procure provincially required swag and materials.
• Manage Secondee Portal Access for new secondees and liaise with IT for necessary system updates.

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, engaging, and able to connect with youth.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and RingCentral.
• Comfortable with cloud-based technologies and virtual engagement tools.
• Experience in community engagement and volunteerism is an asset.
• Ability to present confidently in front of large audiences (30+ people).

Qualifications

• Completion of a related post-secondary education program.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce is an asset.

Requirements

• Criminal and Child Welfare checks indicating no record of convictions and no intervention service records.
• A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle are required.
