Since 2010, our organization has provided true quality, service, and safety to all, in many fields including utilities, infrastructure, civil works, environmental and landscape construction. We are WSIBs 2019 Gold-level winner of the Small Business Health and Safety Leadership Award, a multiple-time winner of IHSA's Recognition of Performance Achievement Milestone award, and a holder of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) for corporate health and safety.

Our values are our foundation:

Our team is paramount to our success, and it includes everyone. Our value of team manifests in courtesy towards all.

This team is ambitious. We embrace challenges and we keep improving. We are true problem-solvers, seeking win-wins.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve in this team and complete meaningful projects. That gratitude must be repaid with a steady application of honesty and reliability.

Wellness for all remains front and center through culture and standards that go beyond the elements of our award-winning health & safety management system.

If you love working outdoors, running equipment, and want to do highly varied and interesting work in a growing company, then this is a terrific opportunity.

Construction Foreman

As a Foreman, you are a team leader with the abilities to be a skilled labourer or heavy equipment operator. You lead tasks because you are an experienced expert in them. The more experienced you are, the more you will be needed to supervise projects from beginning to end. When not supervising, you are second-in-command to one of our supervisors. You report to a site supervisor or directly to a project manager when supervising a project. The crew reports to you when you are supervising.

The foreman leads the on-site production making sure we are meeting time and quality standards and ensuring health and safety standards are always met. The foreman is a problem-solver, forward-thinking, results-driven, has an eye for details, is a good communicator, a positive presence, and also pitches in with labour and operating heavy equipment.

This is an opportunity with plenty of room for growth and promotion.

Working With Us

Our projects are scattered throughout Ontario. Most projects are in the Golden Horseshoe. A willingness to travel (with a travel allowance of course!) is a big asset.

We're a service-oriented company that takes pride in building lasting, collaborative connections with all stakeholders. Getting it done isn't good enough; we want to work together to find quality approaches and solutions to all the challenges of this industry.

We take health and safety very seriously and we expect all our employees to prioritize a safe work environment. We provide additional training to make sure everyone stays safe. We work hard to maintain our COR designation.

Success means a win for all people involved in the project and winning is what we do. We're not afraid to celebrate our success: we have a great group of employees, and we like to reward them with parties, bonuses, and fun events (like golf tournaments!) for all their hard work.

The Details

This is a full-time position, with a starting hourly rate of $32-$40/hour, based on ability and experience. We offer benefits and group RSP options after a waiting period, a fitness credit, paid emergency days, paid overtime, a cell phone allowance, and for those with advanced supervisory skills a truck or truck allowance.

We try our best to keep you close to home, within a 1-hour drive. If you travel for work you will always be home on weekends, and we provide a travel allowance plus the cost of a hotel room.
