Overall Responsibilities:
Accountabilities:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.Process benefits enrollment changes; assess monthly premium notices for approval of payment for group benefits programs.Develop and maintain an effective recruitment and selection process.Effectively manage claims and early return to work process (LTD, STD, WSIB)Coordinate performance review processConduct accident / incident investigations as required.Maintain confidentiality and trust through positive employee relations.Provide timely responses to the needs and questions of employees.Oversee the Progressive Discipline process to ensure consistency and provide advice and counseling to management.Oversee and facilitate employee training, training evaluations, and maintain all training records. Coordinate and conduct employee orientation and coordinate employee communications meetingsMaintain employee personnel files and update information in the HRIS system.Complete employees pay and benefit survey information.Facilitate the social committee and manage the budget.Remain current with legislative requirements & compliance.Monitor and update postings on the company bulletin boards.Process employment verifications and Records of Employment (ROE).Oversee the administration of the employee uniform program.Update Job Profiles as required.Maintain the Alert Tracking System.Assist with payroll support.
