Are you passionate about ensuring your building runs smoothly?

Our client is seeking a skilled Building and Grounds Maintenance Professional to oversee maintenance and repair programs for their seniors care home located in Red Deer County, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform and supervise tasks like carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Handle specialized cleaning and maintenance, including high-altitude tasks.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with tools and equipment for various maintenance tasks.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and emotional stability.
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions and perform heavy lifting.
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of local building codes.
• Valid Building Operator A or B or New 5th Class Certificate, or equivalent (minimum 3 years) relevant experience
