  • Hourly Rate: $39.72/hr. - $46.73/hr. (rate effective January 1, 2025)
  • Hours per Week: Part-time paramedics are required to meet minimum availability per our Collective Agreement.
  • Position Location: 7 base locations within Peterborough County (2 - City of Peterborough, 1 - Norwood, 1 - Lakefield, 1 - Apsley, 1 - Millbrook, 1 - Buckhorn *seasonal).

What you'll do:

Peterborough County-City Paramedics is the lifeline for both residents of Peterborough County and the City. Responding to approximately 34,000 calls annually, our dedicated team of 160 staff, operating at both the primary and advanced care levels, plays a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our community.
  • Innovative Initiatives: At Peterborough County-City Paramedics, we go beyond traditional services. We operate several Community Paramedic programs and boast Tactical Paramedic Teams. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond emergency response; we actively engage with and support the well-being of our community through these innovative programs.

In accordance with Ministry of Health requirements, a Vulnerable Sector Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.
