Job Summary: Grocery Clerks are responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to customer service, and will help out whenever needed in the store. All applicants must be able to legally work in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock shelves, move stock and assist others as directed by store management;
Be able to identify products in all departments;
Offer a greeting to every customer encountered;
Offer assistance to any customer visibly seeking help;
Pack groceries for customers whenever possible;
Accurately stock shelves, facing stock and managing signage where required;
Consistently display a positive attitude a flexible approach; and
Additional tasks and duties as requested by supervisor.
Previous customer service experience an asset. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
