Job DescriptionThe County's Business Systems team is searching for an experienced Business Systems Specialist with strong project management skills, a customer-first mindset and business acumen. Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Systems, the Business Systems Specialist supports the implementation, upgrade, replacement, configuration and ongoing support of various enterprise systems.

Job Duties and Tasks:
- Evaluate business processes and recommend technology solutions.
- Lead and coordinate system projects, changes and integrations.
- Lead and participate in user acceptance testing for systems and changes.
- Manage change requests, evaluate impacts, devise and coordinate solutions with involvement from appropriate subject matter experts.
- Manage system procurements, develop RFPs, lead evaluations and awards.
- Develop project timelines, manage project budgets, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as a liaison between the County, vendors and contractors.
- Develop training resources and facilitate workshops, individual and group training.
- Develop reports, queries and data visualizations using a variety of tools, including but not limited to SSRS, SQL Management Studio, Power BI.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a business systems specialist, information systems specialist or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in project management, business analysis, change management and Lean are an asset.
- Previous municipal experience is an asset.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (35 hours per week). Occasional overtime or working during weekends may be required based on operational needs.
Work Environment: This role is performed in-person in an office environment.
