Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Engineer to join our team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Linux, networking, and data management.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and support business needs.
Willing or interest in learning about System automations, Cargo automation and core business Airport cargo handling.
Candidates must be willing to work on-site and be available for on-call support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Linux-based systems and be proficient in reading core-log files.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and security.
  • Manage and maintain data systems, including backups, recovery, and storage solutions.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve IT infrastructure and support project requirements.
  • Be available for on-call support to address urgent IT or Operation/Business issues outside regular business hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in Linux administration and scripting.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with data management practices, including database operations and storage solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot IT issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site and provide on-call support as needed.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with virtualization or cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with IT security principles and practices, IT infrastructures and Network architectures.
  • Certification in Linux, Networking, or related areas (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Linux+).
  • Acquaintance with Red Hat OS
  • Awareness of Docker containers
